The James Beard Foundation today announced the finalists for its annual awards, which celebrate excellence in food and drink. The awards honor chefs, restaurateurs, cookbook authors, television producers and personalities, graphic designers, journalists and ? as of this year ? bar programs.

Winners will be announced on May 4 and May 7 at the two awards ceremonies in New York. Congratulations to all!
