JournalPioneer states Tim Banks, a member of the Board of Governors of Killam Properties of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and CEO of design and construction firm APM of Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada spent time at the Boys and Girls Club in Summerside, PEI. Killam and APM are each donating $50,000 to kick start fund raising for the Killam Youth Engagement Centre. The new facility, next to the current building, will include a technology centre, a larger gymnasium, and washers and dryers for youth who do not have that capability at home. The center currently caters to children aged 4-13, but with the expansion will be able to serve the 13-19 age group. MHProNews.com knows Killam Properties is one of the largest owners of MHCs in Canada.
